Actually only made it 1/3 of the way into this book before I became too bored to finish. it just moved really slow. Lots of eerie foreshadowing typical of a gothic novel which was fine but it just couldn't get to the point. Plus, I didn't like the characters. The main female character just annoyed me. If she's so stupid to live for years with a man she knows nothing about and won't answer her questions, well...I hope she gets what's coming to her. She just wasn't likable. And then the ghost of a boy who was haunting his sister who is now an old woman--I liked him even less. All about how cruel he was and torturing of small animals. Gee, serial killer anyone?

This is an amazing book that got me all excited--again--about nutrition. I'm even growing my own sprouts and wheatgrass! It also has a great gentle detox that Jed and I have done.
