I won this book and just received it in the mail today. I am planning on starting it soon.

This was a cute read for me, it took me just over an hour to whip through. The main plot is Emily is a mermaid, recently discovered that when she is submerged in water (not touched by any water but fully submerged) her legs turn into a fin. This discovery opens up a world of possibilities and she learns a lot about herself, courage and family throughout the course of the book. There were a few brief passages with beautiful description but being an ocean lover I would have liked to have seen a bit more. The plot was fairly predictable but I'm way past the age range recommended for this book. Overall I enjoyed it :)
