Said'i okuduysanız, bunu artık okumamanız en iyisidir.

I was happy to take this book at its slow pace, but I felt it was not meant for me, somehow. Does that make sense? It'd probably be great for a father and son to share. It was an enjoyable read, but nothing spectacular.
fantastic, i know i usually write an in-depth review... no time now, but this was a great read- highly recommended!
An easy read about friendships developed around knitting (and not). I especially liked the observations of the "elder" woman, Anita, about daughters wanting to have their mother as their best friend because of the unconditional acceptance and interest the moms have for the daughters. However, the daughters do not really want to reciprocate and hear about their mothers' feelings and desires. The book is a bit formulatic in characters and plot but an enjoyable read. (My book club is having the author, Kate Jacobs, visit our meeting this month via telephone. I will update afterwards with any insights.)
