Good book with some infor on New Guinea. A good survival story, but it did as usual, take a little too much time in backgrounds of people I am not concerned about.

Really, I was tempted to give this a 2 but it's better than others I've rated 2. It just wasn't as good as the first one to me. But that one was a 3-4, so this is a 3-. I like sequels that show more character development, but this felt like much a continuation of the same ideas as Dragon Slippers. Creel's quest for equal rights for dragons continues, the romance plateaus for the entire story. BUT all that said, I think I'm expecting too much of a juvenile story. And I'm a little tired of fantasy at the moment. It was cute, well written for a middle reader.
