The other review of this book compared it to Jane Austen in the Peace Corp in the 1980s - that is such an insult to Jane Austen. This self-aggrandizing diatribe is not worth a read and too-overtly intellectualized to enjoyable, interesting, or informative. I threw out the book lest some unsuspecting person stumbled upon and started to read.
