This was the first book I had ever come across that I could read and re-read and still enjoy as much as I had the first time around. My favorite read. I have a lot of books that I would put on a list somewhere, but I think it's safe to say that this will consistently be in the #1 spot.

I loved this book! Elizabeth Gilbert, author of Eat, Pray, Love sums it up better than I can... "I can't remember the last time I discovered a novel as smart and delightful as this one, a world so vivid that I kept forgetting this was a work of fiction..." It it is in letter format, so that took some getting used to but once I got beyond that, I loved the book. My favorite series of all time is "Anne of Green Gables" and this book reminded me of "Anne of Windy Poplars" (#4 in the series.) It's kind-of an "Anne" book for grown-ups, little amusing stories about the people that surround the main character.
