I actually finished this book two days ago, but i've been having a rough time of it in regard to pets this week. So since i'm up early this morning(well not so early now, but i've been up) since i could sleep that well last night due to Rachel bunny's passing i decided to go ahead and write the review. At least the best one i could right now. Admittedly, the only reason i picked up this book at the library was because of the movie. I probably would have never done so without it. Something rather sad to think about since this book is rather good. My brain is bejumbled right now, but it was a really interesting take on the life of the black help in the sixities. I particularly liked Sketter and Abiliene. How sad that for such a good book i don't really have much to say on it. Just read it. It's good. There. That sums it up pretty well.
