I am one of the few people who dislike this book. I think partially it's the setting, and partially because I simply don't like the representation of the characters. The girls' voices don't sound like they belong to different people, but rather one person trying to sound like different people (which is what it is.) The characters are forced and awkwardly written. Generally, I couldn't identify with or invest myself in this story in the least.
