Good for the Newberry Award people for not being scared off by the word "scrotum." I'm not sure that this stood up to being a Newberry winner though, and I don't know that I would recommend it to the masses as I believe Newberry winners should be appropriate for, but it's a great book. I enjoyed the Lucky character and her experiences would make this book a great read for so many kids out there who need to connect with their world.
