Choi King King itibaren Oklalı Köyü
3.5 stars The book cover attracted me at once but only after having read the blurb I decided to give it a try and asked the ARC to NetGalley, for which I thank so much. At the beginning I was a little confused with all these supernatural beings gathered together, each one having a sort of connection and distinct role in the story. It was a radical upset of the usual paranormal romances I am used to read. Of course, I appreciated the novelty but I needed some time to adjust to the new concept. Anyhow, the basic theme of love that goes beyond death and survives for centuries is very intriguing and the story drew my attention. I loved the author’s writing style which was clear and good paced but in the development of the story I was expecting much more interaction between Adrian and Lindsay. Anyway, I have to admit that the first book of a series must necessarily give attention to the other characters in order to set up the basis for further instalments and rouse the reader’s interest.
