The summer of Elio's 17th year, the scholar is the gorgeous Oliver, who throws Elio's emotions (and hormones) into a whirl. This book is so gorgeously written and its main character so sympathetically drawn that it should appeal to anyone, gay or straight, who ever crushed hard.
