this book is a must read for anyone dealing with and/or knows someone going through depression. takes place right here in our lovely seattle! beautiful poignant story.

I really liked it, it was a bit different, but good. It follows many different characters and would go from one story to the next, then back to the first, and so on- as to always leave you hanging until you finish the next chapter. You can come up with your own conclusions as to what the whole meaning of the book is about, and what it means for each character. Make sure you read the book before you see the movie with Kate Winslet, that has many Academy Award nominations. The movie follows almost exactly as the book- which is a nice change for movies based on books.
