A good read for the fall...the mood just seems right. A mystery about a famous writers life is unfloled to a young biographer...it really pulls you in.

This is a very small and pleasant homage to NYC. Many moments with an aftertaste of Invisible Cities: "Talking about New York is a way of talking about the world"

Okay guys. Like everyone else I found this book felt like two very different books plastered together. But! I didn't dislike it for that. I found it compelling and, though I am getting tired of the triangle, Bick has executed its interestingly by separating the two interests and linking them so closely with then two ways she's lived post-zap. Plus, unlike some, I love me a cliff-hanger. I will be picking up the sequel. 3.5*

One of the best books I've ever read!
