Karis'in geçmişinin gizemini ortaya çıkarma konusundaki ortak deneyimleri, Bayan Gregory’nin romantik hikayesinin temelini oluşturmaktadır. İstediğiniz gibi, As You Wish sunar.

This was a good book. I loved the play ideas she had. We allready play hide and go seek but she had a great one you can hide treat toys around the house and also do it before you leave so it isn't so hard to be left. This book just increases my opinion my dog is a really good smart dog. She was potty trained at three months. She almost understands english she knows so many commands. She hasn't chewed anything up since she was a pup. I learned that I have made a big mistake putting her in bed when she gets growling(she sounds scary but she has never hurt anyone)I have done this and she still growls why would I keep doing something that doesn't work? Well I can distract her with the spray water bottle for growling. I tried it and it works. It is faster and more effective. It is much simpler. Only spray once and don't do it too late. You always have to catch the dog in the act. I learned when they bark because of the adrenaline rush they enjoy it like we enjoy chocolate. I learned that to stop a barking musical the spray water bottle is good to use as a distraction, but if you don't have one make an annoying noise and importantly give treats for silence. It always helps me when I read these types of books and it inspires me to think harder and try harder to incorporate positive reinforcement. I have a hard time when my attention is divided. I am learning ways to have my 17 month old help me teach her. He loves to give her treats. She knows how to take them gently. Ruby is a great companion. She is sitting at my feet right now. Being all cuddly. I love dogs. The joke around here is I love her more than most people. I still consider ruby as my first child. Yesterday someone said they love their kids and would never abuse them but if they had a dog growl at their kids they wouldn't be as patient as me. Well, my dog growls at me and my son. She gets in bad moods but she has never hurt us I give her credit and I think if I were to have hit her/abused her wouldn't she think because she is bigger than my son she has the right to discipline him with force? That is why we stopped pinning her and play wrestling her before we had him. That behavior only teaches that the bigger person/dog wins by force. By abusing your dog you only teach it to be abusive. I've noticed a sad pattern that alot of animal behaviorists have been abused and that is what stems their passion for writing. A statistic I would like to add out of the book's introduction is: "Among the millions of dogs and puppies that are dumped into shelters, and the estimated three million that are put to sleep every year, about sixty percent are one year old. How can a nine month-old puppy, who has been ignored, poorly trained,or violently disciplined, not misbehave or show aggression? Why would he not defend himself with whatever resources he has?" It kills me when people call them "bad dogs" who are aggressive when in my personal opinion it is almost ALWAYS the owners fault out of ignorance. Dogs need excercize, play, and brain stimulation... She understands things from a dogs perspective and believes dogs have souls who need love and time. I am fairly sure if some one else would have owned my dog she might not be alive today they would have mistaken her herding instinct as aggression. I don't want to dwell on that to long I'm glad I have her with all the responsibilities she comes with she is worth it. She is a perfect dog! I'm not a perfect owner, I am working on it though it is hard when my attention is divided between my big child-like husband, my first born four legged moldy marshmallow and my second born Lockeness monster.

The most important book I've read in the last ten years. Remarkable.

this book is like the journalist's version of t.c. boyle's tortilla curtain. a pretty good read, though somewhat out of date in this, the "post 9/11." if anyone has a suggestion on a more current migrant worker non-fiction, i'd love to read it.

hmm. i like its message about war. i like vonnegut's essay type writing much more than his novel style writing. i was impressed how he wove the overall story together with the abduction story, the war story, bounced around in time and still made everything pretty easy to follow. i think the abduction story helped to show how the war affected billy mentally too. i give it a B. id give it 3.5 stars, but thats not an option.
