I noticed Dashner ends a lot of his chapters and paragraphs with "And then he drifted off to sleep" or "It took a while for the dreams to overcome him" or something of that sorts, you get the picture. Basically Thomas falling asleep, and all I could think was "Couldn't he think up something different this time?" It's like when someone writes "______ said" or "said he" or "she says" over and over and over again. I was just getting TIRED of it (so punny!). But that's just me being extremely picky. Overall I enjoyed the book very much and was pleasurably confused (if someone can feel so). I can't wait to get my hands on the next book and figure out how this thing will end.

I didn't like it that much in the beginning, but once I got into it, I thought it was amazing. It was soooo sad when Sam changed after the crash. I was crying soo hard. And I was crying when Beck sacrificed his last change to get Sam to come. ): And then Jack had to die. Death,Death,Death. :P But, when Sam changed back, I was jumping up and down. (:
