Being a thin book, I thought that I would blast through this one pretty quickly. Was I wrong! I quickly realized this is a tale that is to be read slowly, savored. It is written so beautifully, almost poetically. The story itself is eccentric; you want to feel sad for the characters and their situations, but they are at peace with their lives as transients in this world.
