Spoiler For me a cheesy detective story for others I’m sure a bestseller. This is the sequel to “Gone ,Baby, Gone” where a young couple, who happen to be private investigators – please – find a missing four year old female child, do the right thing which is to return her to her biological but negligent mother. In this novel the young couple are now married, the child is now16 and has disappeared again. I more skimmed than really read this one. The reader learns that the missing girl grew up to be independent and tough, and she is shockingly well able to hold her own with the two detectives and Russian baby sellers on her trail. Story bored me but I was bookless at the time
