Okay. I think the words "it was alright" have been created specifically to describe this novella. The narrative or plot rather, is a good one. It displays the unknown parts of the world, the blank gaps in the Empire, the type of commerce and most prominently.. man's desire to conquer the unknown. That said, If I was held at gunpoint and told to read this with enthusiasm.. I wouldn't be writing this right now.

Stars for the story more so than the way it was told. Good companion to the film, but watch the movie first.
