A bunch of Mad parodies of the comic strips throughout the history of the magazine. A lot of these parodies are badly dated, and a lot of the comics are barely remembered even by a comics fan like me. I've always been more into the art than the jokes with Mad. I've never really liked "sung to the tune of" or "X takes on current events" types of humor. But it's amazing the amount of work Mad put in their parodies, especially in the early days. (Mad was one of the few things I would spend my limited money on as a kid because I knew it would take a full month to completely read.) The humor is a little too adult (in a juvenile way) to share with my kids. Besides they have no idea who Prince Valiant or Dick Tracy is. Hell there probably won't even be newspapers in a few years, so why confuse them?
