I really enjoyed this one. For YA, I wish there had been less emphasis on sexuality, although it appears mostly by reference, and not description of real time events. This is a darker fantasy than I expected, but I will definitely read the sequel next year when it comes out. My only complaint is that sometimes it is hard to figure out who is speaking sometimes, or who is being referred to, but perhaps this is because I read at night...

Good read with an uplifting ending. It was written in the voices of the three authors who experiences firsthand horrors of Sudan in the 1990s. Their story is truly amazing.

This book is what happens when a publisher is eager to rush a bestselling author to print ... they publish a draft and not a book. A huge disppointment, even by chick-lit standards.
