I recently lent this book to a male friend who was interested in the ideas behind Wicca, but was deterred by the swamp of goddess-centric, female-oriented stuff that is out there. In this book, readers follow the journey of a male apprentice witch and each idea or philosophy is divided into chapters where each of his mentors describe the main points of the craft and some exercises to follow. I found this a really engaging book and I would give it to any beginner witch to read, but it is interesting for those more familiar with the path aswell.
