At best, this book left me lukewarm. I found myself wishing it would just be over...there was nothing in it to draw me in or care much about the cute characters and the dreary setting. The book felt very cliched. I was very excited since Lauren Oliver wrote it, but seems to me she should stick to YA. Juvenile fantasy doesn't seem to be so magical for her.
