Die For Me is a beautifully written novel about romance and the undead. The undead is not those scary zombies you would think about, but those who are nice and helpful. I don’t think I found a novel that I dove right into, meaning that I didn’t think the beginning was slow at all. This novel really kept me going and I didn’t want to put down this book! I really felt sad for Kate and Georgia whose parents passed away right when you start this book. They then stayed in Paris with their grandparents who are now taking care of them. Georgia who is a carefree person goes about her day like any other day where she used to live. She makes friends fast and she hides her sorrow by going out and making new friends. She is a very outgoing person. Georgia is an okay person. I don’t have much of a feeling towards her. Kate likes to keep to herself and enjoys reading. She is still very shaken about her parents passing away and hides in her room or behind a book, until she meets Vincent, a revenant, who sweeps Kate off her feet. The romance in this book is unexplainable. It’s different and daring how Kate takes her chance with Vincent. Vincent doesn’t lead an ordinary life and is not an ordinary human, but Kate accepts that. She also gives Vincent and their romance a chance to blossom. This book, this story, these characters are fascinating and compelling. Die For Me swept me off my feet and is not a slow read. The book keeps you on your feet and does not make you lose interest at all. Love this book! A must read!
