The main character was so stupid in this book that I had a hard time appreciating it. She kept doing stupid things even though she knew they were stupid. I was also bothered by the cop character. He was so distrustful of her, but then all of a sudden he's supposed to believe her story about Scott - even though it had a lot of holes? Sorry, I just don't buy it.
