This book is asinine. Not as bad as books VIII-X, but close. Very close. Rand Al'Thor's black knights are pretty cool, but once again each is just 2-dimensional enough and just off that I despise having them interact with anything that's more than them blowing up a building. In other words, you should have put down this series when you had the chance at the end of Book III.
