This is a tough book to say "I liked" but it was a fascinating read, and one of the few books that I've read that gave me real nightmares. (I've read quite a bit of horror so that's saying something). You get a glimpse of the charisma that Charles Manson apparently possessed in his ability to influence those in his "family", and it's hard to imagine that anyone can revere him as they do after reading this, but there are those that do. The telling of the story was compelling enough that I did read other Bugliosi novels after, as I found him to be quite good at telling the story of real crime dramas.
Excellent book for someone contemplating on starting out on his own.
Good sweet story. Fairly predictable, but a fun read nonetheless. I liked the overall story, hated Rose. Didn't mind the Shakespeare references as much as other reviewers.
