I saw the movie first and I must say I liked it better. It's not a great book but I read the reviews before reading the novel, so my expectations were not high. The book is still decent, I guess. I did skim a bit and I feel it could have been shorter. All though from the expert I read I think "The Power of Six" might be better. So I will continue to read the series.

If Mark Hertsgaard's portrayal of the earth's climate-change situation is accurate, then we have perpetrated a crime on our children and their descendants. A crime we are in the midst of and show little indication of stopping. Having read this, I face a choice--do I learn more about climate change so I better judge what is accurate and what is not--and then take appropriate action?Or do I go back to essentially ignoring the issue.
