The idea of reading about how OI (Brittle bone disease) affects a family was interesting. How this particular family dealt with it was appalling. The main character was IMHO totally unsympathetic, the situations unbelieveable, the recipes superfluous, the characters under-developed and the ending - like being suck-punched.
