very intresting and odd if you think about it , but most of the story in mystery and awesome!

Pullman, the UK's most famous atheist who has formally debated the Archbishop of Canterbury about religion, has written a young adult version of the New Testament with none of the imaginative charm of "His Dark Materials" and none of the wit of Monty Python's "Life of Brian." Ironically, I felt I was being preached to rather than being told a story. Granted, it's a hard story to tell. We know how it ends.
