This is more like a 3.5 star book for me. It was interesting and a good read, but I think the author that finished Ms. Bronte's manuscript mistakenly placed some of our modern-day themes in the story. I'm not saying that Victorian England didn't have serious issues, I just don't know that they would have been written about in this way. I also think that some of the relationships between men and women seemed to be a little bit more modern than they would have been back then too.
