Teddy Theodore Theodore itibaren Kolishki, Beyaz Rusya
What a fun little book! A nice British cozy: set in England in the 1930s featuring a minor Royal, a bit of romance and a murder thrown it to boot. This, and a nice cup of tea...what a delightful way to spend the evening and relieve your stress!
One of my favorites.
The book is detailed and very in-depth. All characters have superior stories, even side characters you may never see again. It's definitely not a book for children, with people losing body parts or dying riddled throughout and some descriptive sexual talk. The story is engaging, and the book is overall a good read. The only downsides is that there are so many stories that you end up having to read a story about someone you really don't care about for a good part of the book. Also, the morals or honor through many of the characters can get dull sometimes. Probably not a book many can read straight through. I did enjoy it though, and the HBO series based on it is right on the money. It is almost perfectly aligned with it.
This was my tub book (the book I kept by the tub to read during my brief breaks from the baby when I could take a bath and relax). Composed of a bunch of short stories about each author's individual expeirnece with cooking or a memorable meal, it was a really easy read. Some of the stories were a little wierd, but overall I enjoyed it.
Review to come:)
