This book was a gift from a good friend. I squealed in delight when he handed the book over. Had wanted to set my hands on this every since I saw other people reading it. It has been a long time since I read something by Terry Pratchett. In Good Omens, I see Terry Pratchett's style everywhere. The wit, the cleverness, the craziness of the characters, all oozed Terry Pratchett's aura. But one could tell that the story was not entirely Terry Pratchett. Someone else had a hand in it, that someone being Neil Gaiman. It made the story a tad darker, a little more coherent, and all in all, wonderful to read. This is a kind of book to read when you have time to yourself. Sit down and just enjoy the plot, enjoy the characters. Laugh at the lines, let your eyes twinkle with glee as you consume each sentence. And at the end, wonder what happened and what was the whole point of it all.
