Started off interesting, i found the characters to be rather disturbing and slightly stupid at times. by the end i was annoyed.

should i admit that i listened to this book during 2 x-country plane trips? yes, i shall b/c i liked it that way... there were times when this tale meandered off track, but the voice coming through my earbuds was earnest and bright like i'd have imagined the little boy protagonist had i read him. This book changed my perspective on wild animals and i'll never forget the floating plant island!
