You know how there are several books from WW2, the Vietnam War and others that have lasting power? I think this will be one of those books from Iraq/ Afghanistan. Not an easy book to read in terms of violence, etc. but very powerful and I have so much admiration for the author and the risks he took to really try to understand this story.

I am not a Freudian, but his is the father of modern psychology so he earned a second star. It's good background knowledge, like the King James Bible, but not entirely apllicable to modern day society when taken in context. I'm an Adlerian, especially when it comes to dream interpretation.
