I found the recipes to not be very quick, but still yummy. Nice pictures and tips to modify recipes, re-use leftovers, etc.

I read this for the Reader's Choice contest at my local library. Sophie is a chocolatier whose specialty is the "misfortune cookie", a fortune cookie dipped in straight baker's chocolate that has a pessimistic fortune. These pessimistic fortunes are a result of her own love life gone sour. There is a misfortune at the beginning of each chapter, and they are hilarious. Some of my personal favorites were: "Yesterday was the high point of your life. Sorry". And "Your greatest success is your aptitude for failure". Cute, funny and and easy read!
