Anyone who has any familial background with the northwest and the logging industry must read this book! (or anyone who has any interest in reading one of the defining literary achievements of this century, for that matter...) Gifted to me by my father. One of his top three books of all time.

So disconcerting. She's a master.

I can't help but love the characters in the Peter Decker series. This is another great story.

I personally did not like this book very much. I read the whole series about a year ago and did not really remember the characters and what they did. That is my fault though. But I didn't feel the book was entertaining and it took me awhile to get through it. I didn't really like it.
