Another nice Austen novel. This one was not quite as romantic as Persuasion or Pride and Prejudice, but still an enjoyable story. We see the story through they eyes of a heroin who is unassuming and naive. Her innocence may be extreme to a flaw but makes her charming and one to easily root for. The hero, Henry, is a gentleman and perfectly suitable for our main character. I enjoyed the turn of events, and change in tone, when Elizabeth leaves Bath and stays at Northanger Abbey. It kept the story fresh and interesting. The story ends a little abruptly with all the ends tied up neatly as all Austen novels are. It would have been nice if it had been a bit more climactic, but still a satisfying ending all the same.

i am not big into this type of book, but found it very enjoyable had to do a little research in back story because i had no read the first Volume.
