An immortal fae, Adam Black, who has played games against the highlanders family in this series, MacKeltar finally has his own love story. It is funny watching Adam fight his feelings for a human female. Will they remain togther or will fae queen break them apart?

I found particularly interesting the study that shows we are less likely to take action if other people are around. In a crisis, we need to know that have a responsibility to act and what the specific action is we should take.

Enjoyed this one very much too... was one of the top 5 King novels with Salem's Lot, Shining.
