i didn't like this book much at all. while reading it, i felt like i was part of an experiment that was falling short of hitting the mark.

This should not have been published as a "novel". It is a very powerful memoir of a young man escaping the horror of the Sudanese civil war and adjusting to life in America. The story of the "Lost Boys of Sudan" must be remembered and honored.
