Seriously, there has got to be a better way to describe sexually appealing beings than the single adjective "hot." This started out cute and quickly became stale. It would however be good for drinking games.

This is probably blasphemy, but I liked this book better than the Foundation trilogy itself. Which isn't too surprising, my favorite of that trilogy was Second Foundation. I love mysterious behind the scenes type mysteries, and this was sort of a continuation of that theme, with the promise of more to come in Foundation and Earth so I'll definitely be picking that up.

This was my least favorite book in the entire series from when I was a child. Surprisingly, I found out that the book was nowhere near as awful as I remembered it. I found it interesting and completely engrossing. I think there is a lot to be said in reading the books in publication order rather than chronological. Last time I read the series, this book was first and I know I missed a lot of the nuances about the creation of Narnia. I am hesitant to continue on to The Last Battle because it's the last book in the series and also the end of Narnia. I'll get to it eventually.
