I read this book because of the movie preview that I watched. It's interesting and not everything is illuminated because I had questions at the end, but the author is quirky enough I'm not sure if he wanted to you to decide for yourself what happened or if he thought he did a good job. The movie, oddly enough, is better than the book and gives a little more information. Strong language is used.

An absolute classic - sexually charged, filled with fears from the era it was written - simply hypnotic.

This book was a solid 4 star book, bordering on 5 stars until the end. Such a shame. I really wish I hadn't even read the last chapter.
