Vegetarian Cookbook, with quite a few recipes adapted from meat beginnings. For example, a vegetarian meat loaf, with fake meat. Not a lot of original ideas, but some recipes that seem worth trying. There are some unusual ingrediants that I don't have in my pantry already, such as unrefined raw sugar, but nothing that seems like it would be too hard to find if you know where to look. There are some nice pictures, which I always appreciate.

Hmmmm. Not sure what to think of this one yet. I like it enough but would I consider it one of my favorites? certainly not. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt, it was a very interesting read. Like a mix of the Hunger Games and the Bachelor. It felt a little too forced though. And predictable. We all knew America was going to be picked, we knew she was going to get feelings for Maxson and we knew or at least I knew Aspen was going to get assigned to the palace guard. Which sets up the love triangle. I am getting sick of all these love triangles. Why? because it leaves doubt of true love. For gods sake, if it was honest true love nobody would be able to come between it. And I know that. I have seen countless couples get torn apart when someone interfers. Meaning no true love. Anyways I am not too interested in true love stories when a person is swayed easily by another person, actually returns feelings for this persona and than falls back to their old love. Uh no. Anyways again. Nice story, I will read the sequel, but I don't believe in the love story one bit. So we meet America, Who I believe is sixteen? I don't think it was mentioned. So her family are considered fives. Meaning they work in arts. America is into music, she makes money for her family by singing. The prince of her country is looking for a wife...thing is in this country when a male of royalty decides to wed, he enters into the selection, which is kinda like a game. All the eligible girls between 16 and 21 enter their names into the selection. 35 are picked and shipped off to the palace where they "compete" to be the next princess. By compete I mean date and fascinate the prince. America doesn't want to enter but she is urged by everyone, so she does and ta da she is picked. From then on everything changes. How can a girl unwilling to be stuck in the palace with the prince, make her way to the end of the competition, when one or both of them want to stay.
