Another 5 star effort! The many questions that were raised and left unanswered were all answered, and the entire series reads as if it were well-planned from the beginning. I didn't notice any inconsistencies, although there may have been a few minor ones that I missed. The Hero of Ages has more large scale battle scenes than the previous books, but they are richly described and move the plot along well. The magical system is enhanced as the characters learn more and more about how it works. It can get a bit confusing as new facts are introduced, but it comes into focus quickly as the new facts and understanding plays a vital role in the plot development. Throughout the book, as some of the mysteries were solved, I was still guessing about how the ending might play out. I love that in a story. Brandon Sanderson did a great job with this series from beginning to end. I highly recommend it.
