i wanted this to be so much better than it was. i think my expectations were too high. i picked this one up because i saw the trailer for the movie and was intrigued. i've still yet to see the movie.

I loved this coming-of-age story; its inspired descriptions are worthwhile to read in themselves, but coupled with a fantastic story it's a must-read.

I love James Patterson books, so I didn't not expect this when I bought it. I cried so much while reading this book, and don't know if I would reccomend it. It is not a book for new mothers, but there is something special about the story.
