So brilliant. Recommended it to all my friends.

One of the best brainless reads ever. Perfect for a beach book. The story alternates chapters from the woman/man's perspective and then the whole story comes together...

One of the most underrated modern authors, this is by far the definitive novel in Ms. Water's oeuvre. Representing all of her strengths--engrossing narrative, coupled with exacting period depiction--and moves away from the glaring weaknesses of her previous works (Tipping the Velvet and Affinity).

I can already tell the movie's going to be better than the book.

I am a huge Alias fan and the Alias books that I have read capture the show. I have only read some of the APO series because my public library only as four alias books. I would love to read the books that take it CTU because on the show, the first two seasons are my favorite. This book also has stuff with Syd and Vaughn, so I loved that part of it.

Don't remember this book very well, but I am a big fan of Allende. I once heard her speak at a bookshop. She talks the way she writes, which means that she drops words that I don't know or that transcend typical conversation. I did love House of Spirits though.

Ok....It isn't Jane Austen. But every once in a while you need to sit down with some 'brain candy' as my brother so adequately describes it. And that is exactly what this is. Brain Candy. I enjoyed it. Very much. It's the perfect 'go to bed and read an hour before sleep book.' Vampires, mystery, sex, and humor. It only took me about a day or so to read, and I'm going to finish the series. Currently, I am also reading Northanger Abbey on audio CD, and hopefully, by reading a classic at the same time I read the commercial, I will make the book gods happy.

yes it is VC Andrews... but as a teen I loved it, and I still own it
