This book is really interesting. The writing style isn't amazing, but the story is.

The thing to realize about the Rich Dad books is that their main purpose is to motivate you rather than teach you any specifics of investing. You won't find anything in here about a step-by-step process for becoming rich. Instead, you will learn that risk is all a matter of perspective, making mistakes is the best way to learn, and you can achieve anything.

The Kite Runner Review Khaled Hosseini a native of Afghanistan wrote a great book called The Kite Runner. This told the story of a young boy and the troubles he faced while growing up in Afghanistan. The author’s purpose is to show people the different culture and how people were forced out of their homes to stay alive because the country became under attack. The book was written to inform people that there is a lot going on in other countries that people don’t get to see or hear about. Such as Americans don’t get to see what’s happening in the Middle East when Taliban’s take over and start killing innocent people and yet no one knows about it. The Kite Runner is a fiction book written by Khaled Hosseini was a man born in Afghanistan and left because his father had business which needed attending to else where. And when he wished to return the country was in despair and the Taliban were in control. Hosseini wrote The Kite Runner part from his own experiences living in Afghanistan and the other from research and his own mind. The main idea of this book was to inform people of troubles in other countries and to tell a story of a young boy growing up and the difficulties he faces as he lives in Afghanistan and then the problems he has while moving and living in America. My thought was this book did inform me of the harms in other countries and it was an interesting and page turning story about the young boy Amir and his servant’s son Hassan. The Kite Runner tells the journey of Amir a Pashtun boy born to a wealthy father and has no mother. And the story tells about his best and loyal friend Hassan, who is Hazara and also his servant’s son. They both grew up together but Amir was ashamed of Hassan because he was like him and didn’t actually see him as his friend but some one to play with when he was bored. As for Hassan, Amir was everything to him and would have done anything for him. Kite Running is a sport in their home town and Amir and Hassan compete together and they happened to win the big tournament. Hassan ran the winning kite and in that process he was raped which Amir happened to see and did nothing about. The story then tells how Amir lives with this terrible secret and never tells anyone what happened or that he was the reason that Hassan left. The story also tells about Amir and his father’s relationship which was very bad because his father never showed any love or affection towards him. So this was also a very troubling conflict Amir dealt with through out the entire book. And Amir being a weak unreliable person does something good and saves his nephew which he found out was Hassan’s son who turned out to be his half brother who no one ever knew about. The story ends with the heroic act done by Amir which people were anticipating while reading the story. This book was well written and was a book I would recommend to others. It not only told a great story it showed the reader that there are other things going on in the world that people don’t know about or are blind to what’s going. So this book did justice and was a book that should be read for years to come because it has such a heart filled tale about a boy and his struggles along with some reality
