Couldn't put "The Hunger Games" down. Have recommended it many times to anyone who enjoys an action packed adventure story. It has almost changed my mind about "Science Fiction". Unfortunately the next two books in the series weren't as compelling. I listened to "Catching Fire" and "Mockingjay" as audio books. Possibly it was the narrator's American accent that put me off, although "Mockingjay" was way too detailed about the politics between the districts and the capitol.

this gets four stars because i'm still wrestling with a question it raised for me, which is: can i be good and passive at the same time? i'm not sure i like hornby's answer, but i'm not sure i like my own, either.
