Although I'm not a Christian, in the religious follower/traditional sense, I had found this to be an interesting book. Since I'm not a practicing Christian, I mentally read this book by substituting the words "Christ" for "God" or Great Spirit or whatever, for a more appropriately universal term and found that method to be charming. But reading it in this fashion, it went from a religious book to a Spiritual book (or at least to me) with psychological and broader relative metaphors. Thus, this reflects my own personal views on the parallels of spirituality and I found this version of reading it was more compatible with me, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually and with how I relate to people from a global perspective.
