This is considered the first book in the series, but time line wise it is set quite in the future of the origional landing. For the first novel it is great and I can read it over and over. Wonderful book.

The addition of a new voice adds the layer needed to bring the series to a satisfying conclusion.

I was afraid this was going to be a cheesy tear jerker but I so enjoyed his stories and bits of wisdom. It makes me want to really take a look at my childhood dreams and see how many of them I've acheived and then look at reaching for more.

A really well told story but very graphic, so I recommend it with hesitations.
