i love murakami and this novel is the first of his i read. it is beautifully succinct, honest and a bit sad. familiar to those who've been in love & super on point about the experience of depression and solitude for young 20-something people.

This elaborately crafted and compassionate novel is the ultimate rabbit hole. I enjoyed every moment of it. Highly recommended.
